Doctor Pat Robertson to the Rescue!
And now for the latest in:
Pat Robertson, in his ever-wise opinion, figured out why Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is fighting for his life. Robertson said Sharon was suffering from strokes because he was being punished for "dividing God's land."
As written in the KUTV article:
He went on to say, “…God considers this land to be his. You read the Bible and he says, ‘This is my land,’ and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, ‘No, this is mine.’”
Robertson was referring to Sharon's order for Israel to withdraw from Gaza last year.
Robertson sure is a talented person! Last summer, Robertson thought it wise to assassinate Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez. Last fall, Robertson advised God that Dover, Pennsylvania had abandoned Him by voting out school board officials that pushed for "intelligent design."
Now, Robertson is dispensing medical advice. Not only that, but he has shattered Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist's record for the long distance diagnosis. Now that takes talent!

It is puzzling how Robertson manages to draw as many viewers as he does, which is to say more than zero. Father Jake in the Christian Alliance refers to Robertson as the "Worst Televangelist in the World" and yet he continues to have some kind of say in our country, even if it doesn't change policy. To think that this man once ran for President!
As long as he continues to act like America's answer to Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, there should be people willing to fight his remarks. Thankfully, plenty of people have done that and Robertson is nothing more caricature instead of a person with very considerable sway such as Ahmadinejad.
